3rd Annual TEA Party Touches Down in Dixon
The 3rd Annual Dixon TEA Party was in full swing Saturday morning at Womens Improvement Club Park.
It began with an idealistic youth who stood on a corner in downtown Dixon with a sign that read "I am 13 years old and trillions in debt," and has blossomed into something greater.
On Saturday Devon Minnema, now 15 years old, rallied about 60 Young Americans for Liberty and local Tea Party members and held a TEA Party (TEA is an acronym for Taxed Enough Already) at Womens Improvement Club Park in downtown Dixon.
They held signs in front of the park that read "Fed Up," and "Ron Paul 2010" and received numerous honks of support from motorists driving by the park.
