β’ The Making of a Lawyer (independentvoice.com) β A former Dixon City Council member, now attorney Devon Nishimura, traces his legal career back to guidance from longtime Dixon lawyer Doris McCready after a political dispute with the city. β’ Solano Emergency Communications Center to launch new phone tree (thereporter.com) β Starting Jan. 5, Dixon residents using the countyβs non-emergency line will reach a new automated phone tree that can route them directly to the Dixon Police Department or other services. The Solano County Emergency Communications Center says the system should shorten waits, free up 911 dispatchers for true emergencies, and make it easier to reach the right help the first time.
