Flag Project Seeks Volunteers Saturday

Volunteers are needed this Saturday to place flags on the graves of our fallen heroes buried at Sacramento National Valley Cemetery.

Volunteers are asked to meet at 9 a.m., at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, CA, and help place the flags on the graves.  bring a screwdriver if you can...it helps with the hard ground.

Then, on Monday (Memorial Day), from 9-10 a.m., the cemetery will have its Memorial Day program to honor those who have paid the ultimate price for their nation.

Arrive aerly for parking and limited seating for 700 individuals will be available.

On the following day, volunterers are asked to return to the cemetery at 6 p.m., to remove the flags.
