WHY: Nearly one in four children ages 2 to 11 have untreated cavities in their baby teeth, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. When left untreated, tooth decay can contribute to poor nutrition, below normal growth, and unnecessary pain.

Give Kids A Smile is a one-day event. Volunteers provide preventive oral care, pediatric check-ups and eye exams to children from low-income families and raise awareness of the importance of access to dental care for low-income children.
WHO: The free clinic is open to any child age 1 to 18.
