Garamendi to Co-Host Student Financial Aid Workshop Today at UC Davis

WHAT:

Today, the offices of Congressman John Garamendi (D-Fairfield, CA) and Mike Thompson (D-St. Helena, CA) will co-host a multi-agency Student Financial Aid Workshop. Representatives from these offices, federal and state agencies as well as financial aid professionals will provide resource information and guidance to students and their families.

All students are welcome, and those participating will learn how federal and state grants, loans, loan forgiveness programs, a recent executive order by President Obama, and new laws passed by Congress can help them better afford higher-education.

This workshop is part of the Financial Aid Awareness Week at UC Davis.
