Teens Learn Drawing and Painting Techniques at Dixon Public Library

ArtsBridge is bringing quality art instruction to the .

On February 24, Alessia Pope, an inspired art student from UC Davis, taught the first class.  She used PowerPoint to present the basic elements of contour drawing and examples by Warhol and Picasso.

She then timed students while they drew objects and, later a model, without looking at their papers.  She encouraged students to have fun while “taking a line for a walk”.
