Law enforcement officials told CBS news Friday that located an unidentified woman’s body in Vacaville during their search for missing Oakland woman Sandra Coke.
Officers would not confirm whether the body they found resembled Coke. They said they are awaiting confirmation from the Solano County coroner’s office on whether it is her. Once they notify next of kin they are expected to release the name.
Solano County sheriff’s Lt. Daryl Snedeker said search and rescue teams found the body in a rural area of Vacaville west of Interstate Highway 80, across from Lagoon Valley Park. Snedeker stressed to CBS news that the Oakland Police Department’s investigation into Coke’s disappearance is ongoing.
