Wednesday was the deadline to file candidacy papers
Three candidates want to be involved in the way that education is shaped within
With the Wednesday deadline to file school board candidacy papers come and gone, incumbent John Gabby will be joined by attorney/parent Joe DiPaola and Guy Garcia, a coach, teacher and local businessman in the race for two seats on the DUSD Board of Education.
One other person, Robert Strong, pulled candidacy papers but did not turn them in before the deadline according to the Solano County Registrar of Voters office.

Trustee Jim Ernst has elected to run again for his school board seat.
The three candidates are vying to shape a district that has recently tested on standardized tests, is , and is working hard to with teachers, staff, management, students, parents and the community.
