City Council Meeting to Focus on Budget

The Dixon City Council is set to discuss the budget for Fiscal Year 2011-2012 at a special meeting scheduled for tonight.

On May 19, the ciy released a preliminary budget that will be the basis tonight's discussion and possible action.

The council's discussion will focus on funds in the General Fund, Redevelopment Agency, Enterprise, Special Revenue, Capital Improvement, Assessment Districts, Landscape and Lighting and Debt Service.

Tonight, the council is also expected to discuss Public Agency Retirement Services Early Retirement Program for Miscellaneous Employees.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m., at the , 600 East A St.
