DHS: Thank You, Ron DuPratt!

Dear Editor:

On behalf of the students, staff, and parents of Dixon High School, I would like to extend a hearty thank you to the great people at Ron DuPratt Ford.  For the third straight year, the dealership has brought an awesome fleet of new vehicles for our community to test drive at Dixon High.  For each test drive, Ford donated $20 to our help fund our athletics programs.  This year, we had 205 drivers and earned $4,100!

In particular, I would like to thank Greg DuPratt, Bill Stephenson, and Rich Bedoya, who spent the entire day here running the event.   Additionally, the folks from DuPratt were able to give our student volunteers pointers when it came to dealing with the public, skills our students will surely use as they move into the world of work.

Again, thanks to Ron DuPratt Ford for a great day!
