District Attorney Jeff Reisig announced that on Friday a Yolo County Jury convicted 55-year-old Kevin Ellis of Dixon of five counts of child molestation.
During the jury trial, the victims testified that Ellis provided them with marijuana, showed them pornographic videos and sexually molested them on multiple occasions beginning in March 2009 and ending in August 2009, when the boys were in the fourth and fifth grades.
After one of the boys reported the sexual abuse to an adult relative, the case was reported to the Healdsburg Police Department (where the child was staying at the time of the initial report). Healdsburg Police soon learned there was another victim and that all of the sexual assaults occurred in West Sacramento.

The Honorable Stephen Mock will sentence Ellis on November 22, 2013. Ellis faces multiple life state prison sentences under the Sex Offender Punishment, Control and Containment act of 2006.
