Dixon PD Confirms Open Investigation of Shooting Incident Sunday Night
Facebook has been buzzing with discussion about a shooting and sirens blaring around town late last night. Dixon Patch called Dixon Police and Fire to ask what happened.
After seeing multiple Facebook posts discussing shots and sirens heard in Dixon Sunday night, Dixon Patch made a few calls – so far information is very limited.
Dixon Police have confirmed there is an ongoing investigating regarding a shooting incident near the corner of Newgate and Stratford Ave. at 10:39 p.m. Sunday, stating sensitive details cannot be released at this time.
A Dixon Fire Department representative told Patch that they did not respond to the incident and no patients were transported.
