Dixon RDA: Should it Stay or Should it Go?

Tonight, the Dixon's Redevelopment Agency will decide whether or not to make a payment to the state in order to stay alive

Under two bills (AB 26 and AB 27) signed into law by Gov. Brown, Dixon's RDA is required to make a payment of $865,000 for 2012, and a subsequent $240,000 in 2013 in order to remain in existance.

Many of Dixon's redevelopment projects would be jeopardized should the RDA vote to dismantle including the Pardi Market Site, the Core Area Drainage Project and Heritage Commons to name a few.
