FBI Agents Disrupt Solano County Methamphetamine Ring

Two arrested during the investigation

The Federal Bureau of Investigation took a significant step in the war on drugs early this month.

On March 2, FBI agents seized five vehicles, $11,980 in cash and more than three pounds of methamphetamine with a street value of approximately $75,000 during an investigation into a methamphetamine trafficking group in Solano County.

Two individuals – Alejandro Munoz Galvan, of Stockton, and Alejandro Pantoja-Solorio, of San Jose - have been arrested on suspicion of narcotics trafficking and organized crime in Northern California.

“These arrests and seizures demonstrate the FBI’s active participation in the Safe Streets Violent Crime Initiative and success of multi-jurisdictional collaboration”, said Herbert M. Brown, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Sacramento Field Office. “Successful dismantlement of criminal organizations – from street-level thugs to leadership - that threaten the vitality of our communities requires the dedication and collaborative participation of all law enforcement partners.”

The operation is the result of a successful, multi-agency investigation spanning more than two years. The FBI-led Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force case was investigated by FBI Solano County Safe Streets Task Force, Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation Division, Vacaville Police Department Narcotic Enforcement Team, California Highway Patrol, Drug Enforcement Agency and San Joaquin METRO Narcotics Taskforce were instrumental to the success of the investigation and resulting arrests.
