Fire Consumes Entire Home on Binghamton Road Wednesday Morning
Before new tenants were able to completely move into a rural Dixon doublewide trailer, fire destroyed the entire home, along with what they had already moved.
A family is left searching for a new home after a fire consumed the rental they were in the process of moving into this morning.
Fire crews responded to rural Dixon with two engines and a water tender, alongside Vacaville District Fire, for a structure fire at Binghamton Road and Bunker Station Road at 6:40AM, but were unable to salvage any part of the home.
"The tenants were in the process of moving into the home," reported Dixon Fire Captain Lewis, "as far as we know they had only moved a fridge and beds in."

The cause of the fire is still unknown according to Lewis, however he did report the home was unoccupied when the fire began.
