Four Arrests Highlight Busy Weekend for Dixon Police Officers
The weekend brought four arrests on charges ranging from theft to DUI. The Dixon Police log July 23-24 is courtesy of the Dixon Police Department. Check out the fight between father and son.

0715 Alarm call in the 1300 blk Hemingway Ct.
0910 Theft in the 400 blk West D St. Suspect jumped backyard fence and took five bags of recyclables and left on foot. A 16 year old male, was detained in the 700 blk of West H St. He was also found in possession of two bottles of whiskey he admitted stealing from Safeway earlier in the morning. He was cited/released to his mother’s custody.

1620 Disturbance call in the 800 blk Woodvale Dr.
1730 Disturbance call in the 500 blk Priddy Drive, Tina Rose Hernandez, 43, of Dixon, was arrested on two felony warrants and was booked at the county jail. Robert Joseph Reed, 41, of Dixon, was arrested for obstructing an officer from doing his duties and booked at the county jail.

0127 Verbal dispute in the 700 blk North Adams St.
0210 Traffic stop in the 1300 blk North First Street result in the arrest of Francisco Acosta (33) of Dixon for DUI. Acosta was cited and released from the PD and his vehicle was towed.
0215 Juveniles disturbance in the 1200 blk Stratford Ave, juveniles pouring water all over tables and floor.
0221 Report of a fight in the 1000 blk Newgate Way.
