NWS: 50 Percent Chance of Rain and Thunderstorms Today in Dixon, 70 Percent Chance of Rain Tonight

Talk about crazy weather?!

Last week Dixon saw temperatures soar into the hundreds. But this week it's a different story. The skies are grey and the chance of rain is bumped up to 50 percent during the day, according to the National Weather Service.

By tonight, the chance or precipitation is dialed up to 70 percent. But do not fret -- 100-degree weather is expected to return to Dixon by the Fourth of July.

Tonight: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 11pm, then a chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52. Southwest wind between 8 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 75. Southwest wind around 9 mph.
