Photos: Harry Potter Party a Hit at the Dixon Public Library
Check out these photos of Friday's Harry Potter Party at the Dixon Public Library
The Harry Potter Party at the Friday was a hit with Harry Potter fans in Dixon.
Twenty teens showed up for the fun Friday -- each of them had read at least five of the books in the popular Harry Potter series.
The teens played Harry Potter Scene It, watched "The Sorceror's Apprentice," (the movie license to screen the 7th Harry Potter film could not be attained because the final film in the series is still in theaters), made potions, did a scavenger hunt and munched on pizza and a Harry Potter cake.

Each of the teens got a free hardback book and a book bag that contained free McDonald's dollars inside. Tony Sanchez, from the local , donated $100 in McDonald's dollars to add to the fun said Katrina Bergen, the library's childrens/young adult services librarian.
"I am very happy with the way the party turned out," Bergen said.Β
