Rick Tubbs garnered the second most votes with 5,116 or 22 percent, followed by Kim Vann with 3,657 votes or 15.75 percent of the votes.

When it comes to Measure L, the sales-tax increase that is designed to fund libraries including the one in Dixon, the absentee vote showed overwhelming support with 29,800 votes or 80.06 percent of the votes in favor of the measure.

None of the 176 precincts have been counted, however, if the absentee vote is any indicator of who will prevail in this election, it's looking good for Garamendi, Measure L and Munn.
