Rain Forecast For the Work Week

A gorgeous weekend of sunny skies will give way to a work week filled with rain and chilly temperatures.  The National Weather Service forecasts a 50 percent chance or rain tonight with that percentage rising Monday to 60 percent.

The rain will curb off Tuesday, but is expected to return on Wednesday with a 30 percent chance of rain. 

Here's a look at the work week from the National Weather Service:

Tonight: A 50 percent chance of rain. Cloudy, with a low around 53. Southwest wind between 7 and 16 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Monday: Showers likely, mainly before 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 66. South southwest wind between 8 and 14 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 47. Southwest wind between 6 and 11 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 70. Light north northwest wind.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 49. West southwest wind between 3 and 7 mph.

Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 63.

Wednesday Night: A 30 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 66.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 46.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 70.
