Reporter: Former Dixon Resident Sentenced to Life in Prison for 1998 Dixon Slaying
The Vacaville Reporter reports that a former Dixon resident was recently sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the slaying of another Dixon resident
The Vacaville Reporter is reporting that former Dixon resident Wilberto Belardo, 32, was sentenced in Solano County Superior Court of life in prison without the possiblity of parole for the 1998 slaying of Jose Zarate.
Back in May retired Superior Courty Judge James Moelk found Belardo guilty of the shooting death of Zarate according to the Reporter's story. The killing happened on Feb. 15, 1998, in a small trailer along the 500 block of South Jackson Street.
Investigators caught up with Belardo in a Tennessee prison, according to the Reporter.
