Reporter Profiles Larry Simmons

Dixon's Patron of the Year got some attention in today's edition of the Vacaville Reporter.

Larry Simmons was named Dixon's Patron of the year at this year's event. Simmons is a familiar face around town attending various events and meetings and is one Dixon's most recognizable characters.

According to the Reporter's story Simmons, 81, moved to Dixon from Vallejo at the age of 20. He began working for the Milk Farm and later worked as a custodian within Dixon Unified School Distric for several years.
