Police have not released the name of the man who was discovered dead at a Vacaville shooting range

A state worker was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head in the Center Mass Shooting Range in Vacaville this afternoon, a police sergeant said.
The 43-year-old male shooting victim is believed to be a Sacramento resident, Vacaville police Sgt. Charlie Spruill said. The range is owned by former Dixon Fire assistant fire chief Ed Tubbs, who is now the Piedmont Fire chief.
He was found alone on the floor of the "B" range of the indoor shooting range at 27 Commerce Pl. by people who were shooting in the "C" range, Spruill said.
