Vacaville Mom Arrested For Allegedly Fracturing Her Infant's Skull
Officials said the five-month-old was found unresponsive in a Vacaville motel.

VACAVILLE, CA- A Vacaville woman was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of abuse of her 5-month-old child that left the baby with a fractured skull, police said Wednesday.
Police found the child when they responded to the Super 8 Motel at 101 Allison Court, where the baby was having a seizure. The baby was taken to University of California Davis Medical Center in Sacramento and placed in intensive care. Hospital staff told police the baby was a suspected victim of child abuse.
The baby had additional injuries indicating abuse, police said. Police went back to the motel room where the family was staying and served a search warrant. They obtained an arrest warrant for the child's mother, identified as Patricia Steve, and arrested her in Sacramento.
