Vacaville Teenager Kristin Fonseca Dies in Hawaii Jet Ski Collision

A Vacaville girl died Monday after a jet ski accident in Honolulu.
The Department of the Medical Examiner in Honolulu identified the teen as 16-year-old Kristen Fonseca.

The collision with another jet ski happened Sunday and Fonseca died Monday at The Queens Medical Center in Honolulu, according to Robyn Boxie, an investigator with the medical examiner's department.
Fonseca was struck in the back of the head by a 20-year-old man who was riding another jet ski in the Keehi Boat Harbor on the southern coast of Oahu about five miles from Waikiki Beach, according to news reports.

The unidentified man also was hospitalized.
