Dublin City Council April 19 Meeting Summary

DUBLIN, CA — At its meeting held on Tuesday, April 19, the Dublin City Council took a number of actions. Below is a summary of actions taken:
- Recognized the Altamont Cruisers Car Club and the Bilich Family for their donations to Dublin Police Services.
- Proclaimed April 24-30, 2022, to be Victims' Rights Week in the City of Dublin.
- Approved the minutes of the April 5, 2022, Special and Regular City Council meetings.
- Approved agreements with Stoneridge Chrysler Jeep Dodge and Walnut Creek Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram for on-call vehicle maintenance and repair services.
- Authorized the purchase of one marked Police vehicle from Dublin Chevrolet and declared replaced vehicles as surplus property.
- Approved the City of Dublin’s Two-Year Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 2022-23 and 2023-24.
- Authorized the purchase of public litter receptacles from Clean River Recycling Solutions and delegated authority to the City Manager for future receptacle purchases to facilitate implementation of Senate Bill 1383.
- Endorsed the Alameda County Home Together 2026 Implementation Plan to Address Homelessness in an effort to reduce homelessness by 2026.
- Approved the following proclamations for the City of Dublin in the month of May: Affordable Housing Week; Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month; Bike Month and Bike to Wherever Day; Building Safety Month; Foster Care Month; Jewish American Heritage Month; Lupus Awareness Month; Mental Health Awareness Month; Public Works Week; Older Americans Month; Physical Fitness and Sports Month; and Small Business Week.
- Approved the Consulting Services Agreement between the City of Dublin and EOA, Inc., for Stormwater NPDES Implementation Assistance.
- Adopted the ordinance amending Dublin Municipal Code Sections 2.08.020 and 2.08.040, providing for an increase in the salary for members of the City Council and Mayor.
- Approved funding recommendations for Fiscal Year 2022-23 Human Services Grant Program.
- Adopted a resolution Considering the CEQA Addendum and Adopted the 2022 Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
