DUBLIN, CA — The Dublin City Council will vote Tuesday whether to approve a joint grant application with The Related Companies of California, LLC to pursue up to $50 million in state funding for the planned Amador Station affordable housing project.

The proposed project would transform a 3.6-acre vacant parcel next to the West Dublin/Pleasanton BART station into a transit-oriented, 300-unit development with affordable housing. Proposed changes include BART rail car procurement, transit operating support for LAVTA, pedestrian and bicycle upgrades throughout Dublin, and new bus shelters.

$35 million of the request would support the housing, which would include ground-floor retail space. The remaining $15 million would support sustainable transportation infrastructure like sidewalk upgrades, bike lane installations, better trail connections, d and more.
