Pleasanton Storage Unit Burglar Suspect Arrested
Police arrested a man suspected of stealing numerous items from a Pleasanton storage unit.

PLEASANTON, CA — Pleasanton police arrested a Castro Valley man accused of stealing from a Pleasanton storage facility.
Pleasanton detectives followed up on what they say were a series of storage brea-ins at the unnamed Pleasanton facilities. Police served a search warrant a home in Castro Valley, where they reportedly located numerous items that were stolen or suspected to be stolen.
A 44-year-old man, whose identity was not revealed, was arrested and booked into Alameda County Jail on burglary charges.

Anyone renting a storage unit is advised to use a high-quality disc or cylinder lock, avoid storing valuables in plain view, and report any suspicious activity around storage facilities to police straight away.
