Patch 100 Employment Workshop is Tuesday in Pleasanton
Win a business profile photo, free haircut or an image makeover at free employment workshop for women.

Patch and What's for Work, an online career community, are holding a free kick-off workshop at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Pleasanton for women interested in or already enrolled in the Patch 100, a project to help East Bay women return to the workforce.
Join us from 10 a.m. to noon at the Pleasanton Library, 400 Old Bernal Ave., to learn about the Patch 100 and enjoy coffee, career-related raffle prizes and networking.
We'll be giving away three haircuts from Fusion 3 Salon Spa, an Aveda salon with three East Bay locations; a 90-minute hair, make up and wardrobe consultation valued at $225; and a business photo shoot.

Image consultant Huda Baak will help you figure out how to use what you have to update your look for the workplace. We'll also be giving away a 30-minute photo shoot with Lynn Dykstra of Focused Images Visual Solutions. Dykstra, who specializes in business photo services, is giving away a professional headshot, retouched, sized and digitally delivered.
At the workshop Patch and What's for Work will be sharing how you can make the most of your profile on the What's for Work website and how you can engage on your hometown Patch site and other social media networks to better build your personal brand.

Feel free to bring a laptop or notebook computer for hands-on work at the event.
So far 90 women from across the East Bay have signed up for the Patch 100. We still have spots left for job-seekers. Click here to sign up. (It's free!).
