Sig-Alert Issued After Trailer Overturned On I-680
Drivers were advised to take alternate routes after a Sig-alert was issued Friday morning in Sunol.
SUNOL, CA — The California Highway Patrol issued a Sig-alert in Sunol late Friday morning after a travel trailer overturned on Interstate Highway 680.
The trailer blocked the right and center lanes of southbound I-680 at State Route 84/Calaveras Road, CHP said. Heavy traffic was recorded in the area.
Drivers were advised to take alternate routes such as Koopman Road to Pleasanton-Sunol Road to Niles Canyon or stay on I-580 west to I-880.
