Tri-Valley Accessible Advisory Committee Seeks New Members

The operator of the Wheels Bus system and Dial-A-Ride paratransit service is looking for new members to join the advisory committee.

DUBLIN, CA — The Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority is looking for new members to join the Tri-Valley Accessible Advisory Committee.

The transit program runs the Wheels Bus system and Dial-A-Ride paratransit service in the Tri-Valley.

Advisory committee members provide input on issues seniors and disabled residents face.

Representatives are needed in the following areas:

• City of Dublin - 1 member, 1 alternate
• City of Livermore - 2 members, 1 alternate
• City of Pleasanton - 1 member, 1 alternate
• Alameda County - 1 member, 1 alternate
• Social Services - 3 members, 1 alternate

Committee members represent the cities of Livermore, Dublin, Pleasanton, and unincorporated Alameda County and Tri-Valley social and human service agencies.

Candidates have to live in the city they represent and be able to share information for the committee within their communities. They also must use LAVTA bus routes, Dial-A-Ride paratransit services or represent someone who does. Meetings are held six times a year and currently are being done via Zoom.
