Utsavi Women's Festival To Feature Workshops, Crafts, Competitions

DUBLIN, CA — Celebrate the power of women this weekend at Utsavi, a celebration of women's leadership, connection, and community impact that will take place Saturday at Frederiksen Elementary School in Dublin.

The event is organized by Agomoni, a community organization devoted to organizing events like food drives, park cleanups, senior center volunteering, and community gathering. Utsavi, a Sanskrit word for a joyful celebration, will feature a number of activities and entertainment.

"Our mission is to bring together women from diverse backgrounds to share knowledge, foster wellness, and promote economic independence through networking and entrepreneurship," the group said in a statement.

Guests can enjoy:

• A fashion show
• A rangoli competition and crochet competition with prizes
• Creative workshops on flower arrangement, painting, and making tote bags and wall art
• Interactive sessions on wellness, professional growth, relationships, and self-care
• Stalls with women-owned businesses

The following women will also speak:

• Sarita Venkat – VP and Deputy General Counsel at Cisco, Board Member of ChIPs, and co-founder of Heels of Justice podcast.
• Sheetal Rawal – Founder of Aprāsā Skincare.
• Jaya Basu – Therapist, educator, and President & CEO of Promise Worldwide, a nonprofit supporting mental health and emotional well-being.
• Nilanjana Maulik – National disability advocate and champion of inclusion.
