Audubon Center Holds 8th Anniversary Party Saturday
An afternoon of fun in Debs Park on Saturday, Nov. 5.

Eight years after it first opened its gates to the community, the Audubon Center at Debs Park is holding a birthday party.
The Audubon Center will host an afternoon of fun in Debs Park on Saturday, Nov. 5. The event will feature music by Birdie's Playhouse from 1:15-2:15 p.m., followed by a family nature walk.
There will also be arts and crafts, food and conservation activities throughout the day.

“We have come a long way in eight years and we are looking forward to another great eight of connecting people in our community with nature right were they live,” said Center Director Jeff Chapman. “Saturday gives us a chance to celebrate with our neighbors and we hope people come out to explore Debs Park with us."
Chapman, along with Patty Sun and Rosa Delgado were some of the original staff members who helped open the Center eight years ago.
