Eagle Rocker Wins iPad3 in Chamber of Commerce Raffle

An Eagle Rock resident has won a brand new iPad 3 in a raffle organized last month by the Eagle Rock Chamber of Commerce.

The winner, who was identified only by his first name and the first initial of his last name as Robert O., bought the winning ticket at on Colorado Boulevard, according to Chamber of Commerce Vice-President Allen Yap.

The raffle was drawn on Sunday, July 29, at Eagle Rock’s annual Summer Concerts in the Park series, held at the .

“The raffle was quite a success, with 360 tickets sold,” said Yap. Funds from the raffle will help promote small businesses in Eagle Rock as well as allow the Chamber of Commerce to continue to host community events such as the Summer Concerts in the Park series, the Eagle Rock Friday Farmers’ Market and the Olde Fashioned Children's Christmas event in December.

“Taking care of the small business in Eagle Rock and serving the community will create a wonderful place to live and shop,” said Yap, adding: “Congrats, Robert, and enjoy that new iPad 3!”
