The Arroyo Vista Family Health Center will offer free health screenings for children & adults. Services will include Dental, Vision, Blood pressure, Podiatry, Hearing, Family Health Review, Exhibitors will include: Susan G. Komen for the Cure, PADRES Contra El Cancer (“I am Hope”); LA County Department Public Health Child Lead Poisoning Prevention Program; L.A. County Department Public Health HIV/STD Program; BREATHE CA of Los Angeles County; Los Angeles Public Library; Hathaway-Sycamores Children & Family Services; Optimist Youth Homes & Family Services; Alzheimer’s Association; USC School of Pharmacy.

• 2013 North East Trees Earth Day Art & Environmental Festival, Sunday, April 21, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., Los Angeles River Center & Gardens, 70 W. Ave 26 (between Figueroa Street and San Fernando Road).
More than 35 local artists, local environmental organizations and sponsors will be exhibiting and selling at this FUNdraiser for North East Trees. This is an opportunity to learn what local environmental groups are doing in the Northeast.
Join others for a fun day in the gardens with live music, wine, beer, and lemonade, activities, food trucks, a prize drawing and more. Free admission, and ample free parking on site at the Los Angeles River Center & Gardens (formerly Lawry's California Center), 570 W. Ave. 26, between Figueroa and San Fernando Road. 10 percent of all sales will go to North East Trees.
