• Officer, don't forget your spike strip (padailypost.com) — A police chase that began with a truck stolen in East Palo Alto led Menlo Park officers to deploy spike strips at Willow Road and University Avenue, but one strip apparently punctured an uninvolved driver’s tires. That driver is now asking Menlo Park to reimburse more than $1,500 for the damage, while the alleged thief faces charges including car theft, DUI, and evading police.
