Echo to Host Series on Business Side of Music

Industry insiders will kick the series off next Saturday with a look at music publishing.

Late Friday I got some interesting news in my in-box, an email from senior talent buyer Liz Garo of .

Under the moniker, "Back to School," the monthly panels will take on a topic with the help of industry insiders.

Liz says the idea blossomed over the course of breaksfasts, drinks and conversation with BMI Executive Director of Writer-Publisher Relations Tracie Verlinde.
