Free Tickets: Taiko, Techno, Anime at Disney Hall

For one night only, manga, musical theater, taiko and techno all have a place on the Disney Hall stage.

That's Saturday night, June 25, when Paradise Lost: Shadows and Wings comes to Disney Hall at 8 p.m.

Paradise Lost is set in a gritty urban world where a tribe of orphan Angels fights for survival.

Starring Hila Pitman and conducted by Eric Whitacre--who also composed the score--the production features a 300-member chorus with people from all over the country.

Pitman and Whitacre both hail from Los Angeles, though the show was first mounted in Boston in 2007.

Concert promoters DCINY Distinguished Concerts International  have worked with Whiteacre since 2008, promoting shows in Chicago and New York.
