Echo Park Lake is now officially closed. Department of Public Works officials locked the gate at the north end of the lake at 10:30 Friday morning. No one from the public is allowed inside. Gary Leonard snapped the accompanying images just before the gate was locked. They're part of our ongoing project Lake Cam, where we plan to post an image a day charting the Park renovation.
