Silver Lake Community to 'Walk the South Dam'
On May 13th, Council Member Mitch O'Farrell and his staff are hosting walking tours on the South Dam of the Silver Lake Reservoir.
From Silver Lake Forward: On Saturday, May 13th from 10 AM to 2 PM, Council Member Mitch O'Farrell and his staff are hosting walking tours on the South Dam of the Silver Lake Reservoir and a community open house at the Silver Lake Reservoir Recreation Center. Please join Silver Lake Forward at this fun community event!
It's a great opportunity to show your support for opening more of the Reservoir complex to walking and public access- The Council office will be sharing concepts and renderings for new walking path access across the top of the South Dam. Here at Silver Lake Forward we believe that access, beauty and conservation are complementary values, and that increasing community access to the public resrouce of the Silver Lake Reservoir complex is a huge benefit for the community.
And who doesn't want to check out the view from the South Dam?
