Stitch and Pitch Friday Night at Dodgers

About 200 needlepoint, crochet and knitting fans are expected to attend the game against the Houston Astros.

The Los Angeles Dodgers will conduct their sixth
annual Stitch and Pitch Night at Dodger Stadium Friday night with the approximately 200 participants knitting, crocheting, embroidering, cross-stitching and needlepointing while watching the game against the Houston Astros.

The group will collect knit and crocheted baby caps and blankets for the nonprofit group Stitches from the Heart.

The Stitch and Pitch tickets also include a Dodgers Stitch and Pitchtape measure and bag. One dollar from every ticket purchased goes to the Needlearts Mentoring Program, which mentors children in the needle arts.
