Two Suspects Arrested in Bryan Stow Beating: Ramirez Could Be Exonerated
The LAPD has yet to confirm the arrests, but they could mean those who maintained Ramirez was innocent were right. Attorneys for Ramirez have announced a press conferernce for Friday afternoon.

Giovanni Ramirez could be exonerated for his role in the beating of Giants fan Bryan Stow on opening day at Dodger Stadium.
That’s according to the Los Angeles Times website, which also reported late Thursday afternoon that the Los Angeles Police Department has now arrested two other suspects.

TMZ reports that the two new suspects were arrested early Thursday morning and taken to Parker Center.
And ABC7 said on its website that one of them is male, and the other is female—and possibly the driver of the van that night.

The Associated Press says that if the male is charged, Ramirez will be exonerated.
The LAPD still has not confirmed the report, saying only that the beating remained under investigation.
UPPATE: Attorneys for Ramirez, Anthony Brooklier and Jose Romero, have announced a press conference for Friday afternoon at 1 p.m.
Both Brooklier and Romero said Thursday they had not been contacted directly by the Los Angeles Police Department about any changes in the case.
TMZ also talked to family members of Ramirez who said “they were thrilled” since they knew “Giovanni did not do this all along.”
Ramirez remains in jail on a parole violation. He was never indicted for the crime, although LAPD Chief Charlie Beck told reporters in June that he was confident Ramirez “was the man.”
LAPD Northeast division detectives coordinated the investigation that led to Ramirez's arrest in late May.
The exoneration of Ramirez has the potential to be a serious black eye for the LAPD.
The 42-year-old Bryan Stow underwent emergency surgery on Monday after a fluid build-up in his head.
He spent several months in a medically-induced coma after the beating.
He remains hospitalized in San Francisco General Hospital.
Earlier this week, the Los Angeles County Board of Supevisors added $15,00 to the reward for information leading to arrests in the Stow beating, bringing the total reward to at least $225,000.
