Alleged Drunk Man Drove Car Into Girlfriend's House
Police say the man drove into the victim's home two times.

EL CERRITO, CA- A woman's allegedly intoxicated boyfriend drove into a Richmond residence twice early Friday morning before he was arrested, according to police.
Police were notified at about 1:30 a.m. Friday that a suspect had threatened to drive into his significant other's home in Richmond's Southern District, according to police. Allegedly under the influence of alcohol, the man got into his vehicle and ended up driving into the residence two times, police said.
Responding officers saw the second crash. The victim's teenage son tried to convince the suspect to stop, police said. Neither the teen nor anyone inside the home suffered injuries during the incident. The home sustained moderate damage as the vehicle smashed into it, police said.

The suspect, a 33-year-old Richmond resident whose name was not released by police today, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, vandalism, and DUI.
