Come out for this family event! This the third annual Bike the Bridges benefit for the Special Olympics Northern California. It began in 2010 with El Cerrito police playing a leading role in organizing it.
Riders will have the choice of a 25-mile or 55-mile ride. The rides start and end at Waterfront Park in Martinez, with both courses taking the riders across the scenic Carquinez Bridge and the new Benicia Bridge.
Support personnel and refueling stations will be available along the way as well as a "sag" vehicle driving the routes to assist, support, and encourage cyclists.
