Man Shot in Drive-By at Valero Gas Station
Officials have identified at 26-year-old as the victim.

RICHMOND, CA- A 26-year-old man was fatally shot at a gas station in Richmond late Thursday afternoon, according to police.
The victim has been identified by police as Richmond resident Reginald Atkinson. Officers responded to the vicinity of South 37th Street and Cutting Boulevard on report of gunfire at 4:47 p.m.
One the scene they found Atkinson suffering from gunshot wounds on the ground near a car at 3701 Cutting Blvd. A Valero gas station is listed at that address. Atikinson was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. No other injuries were reported.

A description of the suspect or suspects involved in the shooting was not immediately available, and police said a motive has not yet been established. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact Detective J. Wentz at (510) 621-1259.
