• Black health study has slow start; concerns like infant deaths, homelessness, are known (richmondside.org) — Health access concerns in District 1, which includes El Cerrito, are highlighted in a countywide Black health study showing especially high worries about medical and mental health services. Richmond’s $1.5 million Black Resiliency Project is moving slowly, as officials work to form an advisory committee and decide how to fund local organizations tackling maternal health, homelessness, and wellness gaps.
