Poll: Split Up West Contra Costa School District?
After the defeat of the Measure K parcel tax for West Contra Costa schools, the school board president ignited debate by asking if Hercules and Pinole, where support was lowest, belong in the district. We'd like your vote in our poll.

After Measure K, the proposed parcel tax for West Contra Costa schools, failed to win the needed two-thirds approval to pass, the president of the school board, Charles Ramsey, stirred strong responses and debate when he said it's time to consider .
The approval rates in Hercules and Pinole were the lowest among the seven largest communities in the large school district, and a showed that Measure K would have won without Hercules and Pinole.
The measure won the most support in Kensington, followed by El Cerrito.
