Richmond Man Airlifted, Died Following Gunshot Wound
Richmond homicide investigators are asking for information relating to Malik Booker's death.

RICHMOND, CA- Police are investigating a shooting that killed a 21-year-old man in Richmond Saturday evening.
Around 6:05 p.m., a resident called to report that a person was bleeding from an apparent gunshot wound in the 1700 block of Maine Avenue, according to police.
Once at the scene, officers rendered first aid to the victim until medical personnel arrived, police said.

The victim was identified as Richmond resident Malik Booker. Booker was airlifted to a hospital, where he died from his injuries, police said. No suspect information was available.
