One permit is for an Airstream trailer to be operated by Berkeley's Local 123 coffeehouse and parked at between Ramona and Pomona avenues. It would sell coffee and locally made pastries, with the possible addition of other items at a later date. The home base of Local 123 is at 2049 San Pablo Ave., between University and Addison avenues in Berkeley.
It still needs approval of the Alameda County Environmental Health Department. Limited seating would be available, and all items would be sold to go. Proposed hours are 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends.
