According to travelers who post comments on TripAdvisor,  a top attraction in El Cerrito is Playland-Not-at-the-Beach which features a vintage arcade and amusement park games.

Another top attraction is a hike in Briones Regional Park.  Hikers who make it to the top of Briones Peak will be rewarded with views of Mount Diablo, Mount Tam and the Delta.
